Lake Park is owned and operated by California-Nevada Methodist Homes, which was incorporated in 1954 as a not-for-profit corporation. It is a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and Aging Services of California. Lake Park is fully accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission which means that the community has met or exceeded the high standards for excellence in services, programs, financial stability, facilities and health care as agreed upon by AAHSA members. While the total membership of AASHA exceeds 5,600 retirement communities nationwide, less than 10% of the members are fully accredited Continuing Care Retirement Communities which places Lake Park among the very best in the Country.
